I BALZINI Black Label again on the First Class of brazilian airlines TAM Print

Year 2011 was a very important one for I BALZINI. Guides' prestigious results and experts'consensus, gave trust and a great impetus to the upward curve of this small winery in Tuscany, grown over years with tenacity and passion and that has seen, in his twenty-five years of activity, to increase its number of fans.

The most prestigious wine of the company, I BALZINI Black Label -  an international blend based made of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - was selected by the Brazilian airline TAM, including it among their own wine labels for First Class passengers,on flights Milan - Sao Paulo and Milan - Rio de Janeiro. This is the second time that the airline chooses this wine; also in 2009 the  label had accompanied the First Class passengers. And the recurrence of this consent is a success for the company and Tuscan wines in general.

Great satisfaction for Antonella and Vincenzo D'Isanto  thatover the years have always aimed for excellence by adopting processing techniques to make the most of their grapes, ideal for producing elegant and long-lived wines. The choice of the blend was not dictated by the fashions of the moment, but it is the harmonic expression of what the land could give.

To plant Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the ground tuff doorstep, where they we can still find a considerable presence of marine fossils, was a happy choice, since the grapes express at their best and  with refinement  their characteristics, the great structure, their character fruity. From their selection of wines are produced elegant, fruity, with good acidity, great structure and a wide range of scents ranging from black berries, spices.

The company works tirelessly to improve the quality of their wines and to protect the environment, making  very imporatant sustainable choices. The commitment has resulted in the creation of a photovoltaic system, the decrease the weight of bottles resulting in energy savings and lowering emissions, the construct of an underground cellear with energy debt like zero . In fact it was made a catch on the roof light, which allows you to work between the barrel without the need for electric light. The company is also very attentive to the preservation of the soil and biological factors on fertility does not use chemical products with high impact on the vineyard and, using just organicand / or organomineral fertilizer.

Antonella and Vincenzo like call themselves as "producers of passion".
