The Grand Cru d’Italia Association

Just as in France, where the classification of the Grand Crus was established by law in 1855, the Italiann crus are intended to indicate wines produced on Italian soil from either native or international grapes which have obtained high level recognition for their quality from publications or from the most authoritative Italian and international guides to wine.
I Balzini was selected utilizing rigorous criteria of quality, keeping fully in mind the history and tradition of the estate in the viticultural sector and its consistently reliable production of fine wine over the years.
